Now that we've moved fully to a blog, I realise I have a fair bit of catching up to do.

Mum and Dad were over here last September and I haven't gotten around to posting some of the pictures we took whilst they were there.



These were taken at the Brisbane Museum



Oscar loves this place and we go there often.



This one was taken at the Blue Mountains in Sydney. Row, Oscar and I drove down from Brisbane to meet up with Mum and Dad who had flown there having driven from Melbourne to Adelaide.

New Camera - First Thoughts

I mentioned in my last post that I bought a new camera - a Nikon D90. This camera, for me, is a good logical step up from my Pentax *ist which was a great camera, but which was also a bit limiting in some areas, particularly high speed, multi-shot and night exposure.



This is my new toy and I'm loving it!

This camera has so much flexibility - it's marketed as "sub-professional" but I'm not sure - it's pretty high spec for the price!

I've been playing with it for a week or so now and can't wait to get out and take some long exposure images (my favourite composures).

As I do I'll post more images.

New Camera - Bike Pics

Purchased a Nikon D90 last week, and I've been snapping away like crazy learning the (huge) amount of functions available.

Have added a few pictures to the blog - what do you think?
